My latest creation

For the last few days, I've been working on a special request. As always, I never reproduce other people's work nor paint what people ask me to...I paint what the canvas inspires me. I hang the blank canvas and everyday, as I walk by, I generate a mental image. When the image is clear in my head, it is ready to be painted.

Here is the result for my latest creation - a 36"x36" acrylic painting.

Original painting, acrylic on streched coton canvas.

When doing a painting, I don't plan anything and don't think at all. The tools fall into my hands as I paint. Here are the tools that were used:
4" brush, dish-washing brush, circular tampon, Royal SG-250 soft brush

Some of the details:

Tree branch details

Bird details: first drawn on paper, cut out to create a stencil, then the details were painted over the green silhouette.
