Hotel room at home

It is possible to reproduce a luxury hotel room feel at home. All you need is a couple of accessories and a touch of modern design.

1- Paint your wall a neutral gray. I suggest Sico's "Ground pepper" for a touch of drama. Also, a darker color such as this one will ensure that the room stays darker longer in the morning.
2- A white duvet gives a feeling of softness and lightness while providing a neutral background for colorful cussions.
3- Display a soft-to-the-touch and warm throw accross the end of the bed. It should be close to the color of the walls.
4- Add a punch of color with the cussions like electric blue, romantic red or lively yellow. Don't overdo it though and keep it to two colors max.
5- Curtains and rug should be in the accent color.
6- Don't be afraid to add a large mirror, glass or silver side table lamps, a white chair with a throw in the accent color, along with a beautiful crystal chandelier. 
7- A basket of fresh white towels and colorful washcloths (in the accent color) could be placed near the bathroom access and white bath robes should be ready near the entrance door.
8- A small tray with water bottles, glasses, a pen and notebook, a magazine, a little box to put your watch away, or any other useful accessory will complete the desired look & feel.

Remember that the relaxed feel of a hotel room is in the details. No need to completely redo your room. Simply add accessories and details that make the bedroom a place where stress cannot follow.
